The Raveningham Centre is home to M.D. Cannell Antiques, Norfolk Rugs and The Pond Cafe. A quirky and off the beaten track shop and café which is brimming with interesting and unusual artefacts. Situated in the stables of the beautiful 16th century Castell Farm in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, the showrooms are packed with the best display of rugs and carpets from Afghanistan and Persia in the area. Jostling for space with the rugs are many exquisite textiles and antiques from around the world. Over the last 20 years, Norfolk Rugs has become a mecca for people wanting beautiful objects for their houses and a welcome change from the pushy and pressured high street.

The Shop
There will be plenty of opportunities to explore the shop which is filled with antiques, persian carpets, new and secondhand books, jewellery and a selection of tune books and instruments.

The Pond Cafe
is open every weekend serving home cooked fresh food, a vegetarian option always available. Plus locally homemade cakes, good coffee and a selection of teas and other treats.

The Raveningham Centre is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border 13 miles south of Norwich - left off A146 at Hales.

By Bus & Train
There are regular buses from Norwich and Lowestoft to Beccles - X2. Beccles is the nearest train station and is approx 3 miles from Raveningham.
